Treatment with hypnosis for IBS
What is Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

A syndrome is a collection of symptoms. The symptoms are due to digestive route malfunction The symptoms are:-

Abdominal bleeding
Abdominal pain
Altered bowl habits
Incomplete emptying
Mucus in stools

IBS is of a great concern to its sufferers there is no cause and GPs do not have a treatment that works for everyone within the time from they are allowed. IBS is seen as something with no long term harmful effects, plus if you deal with your stress, you will improve.

IBS sufferer’s biggest embarrassment is faecal incontinence because it is socially unacceptable. Isolating oneself to protect yourself is not unusual.

IBS sufferers often suffer additionally with disturbed sleep, fatigue, tiredness, anxiety and depression.

IBS has been listed as the second leading cause for absences from work.

Hypno therapy is the only treatment that works very well with IBS

Although some GPs are familiar with and even offer hypnotherapy they are unable to spend a number of hours with just one person so Hypnosis is a last resort, which is a great shame as it is the only efficient treatment for giving control without drugs and dietary manipulation.

Your belief system

If you believe that you will get no better then that is exactly what you will achieve

Your subconscious makes no distinction between real or imagined both are one and the same, all real.

IBS is seen as a functional somatic syndrome i.e. physical symptom not explained by structural disease, the same as fibroamyalgia, Chronic Fatigue syndrome (CF) and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME)
